Today’s quick kbeauty review will be about the newest toner in my collection. I’ve been using a miniature of an Anua Heartleaf Soothing Toner for a while now. I chose it because of its harmless ingredient list. It’s not scented and doesn’t contain alcohol either which is perfect for any sensitive skin type. Heartleaf Soothing Toner by Anua is highly moisturizing, too.
Infused with 77% Houttuynia Cordata Extract it helps to soothe sensitive skin. The slightly acidic pH of the product (5.5 to 6) helps to regulate oil-moisture levels in the skin. A miniature has a volume of 40 ml. The regular packaging has a volume of 250 ml.

Houttuynia Cordata (a.k.a. Heartleaf)
Houttuynia Cordata Extract is a handy ingredient if you have oily and acne-prone skin. The “heartleaf” plant is rich in flavonoids – natural antioxidants well-known especially for their anti-ageing benefits, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and many more. Since my skin tends to welcome new pimples sometimes, I usually choose toners with moisturising & soothing properties. A new pimple is a sad event. But red, inflamed pimple, that’s a tragedy.
